Favorite Posts of 2012

Happy 2013 everyone!

Are you up for another best-of post?  I love, love, love best-of-the-year posts!!

My compilation of projects isn’t based on actual numbers.  I didn’t start to track blog stats right away, and then I switched trackers half-way through the year.  Soooo… my round-up is based on projects that I got the most feedback from all of you dear, dear folks who follow me.  I am so grateful to each and every one of you.  I hope that you stick with me in 2013 – I’ve got lots of projects floating around my head that I can’t wait to share!

One of my most favorite projects is this Soda Crate Footstool.  It was easy, turned out even better than I imagined, was so well-received by you all, and won the DIY Club project of the month contest.  I think that you can understand my attachment!

This next project was super easy, and I think that’s part of the reason it was so popular.  Plus we all love mason jars, right???  I also just found out that this Mason Jar Window Treatment was one of Hometalk’s most viewed projects of the year!  It certainly deserves a spot here.

I was, and still am, super happy with my newly blue kitchen cabinets.  My tiny little kitchen’s makeover even made  appearance on bobvila.com.  I am still smiling about that one!

This next project has been pinned soooo many times – it’s crazy!  My favorite re-posting of this door project was on a website in Japan (the gentleman who featured it was super sweet).  Not bad for a $10 door.  :)

I did a bit of crafting this year, also.  One of the most popular crafting posts was this wreath made with jute upholstery webbing.    This one will be hanging somewhere in my house for a long time!

I hope that you enjoyed my 2012 wrap-up. It’s been amazing to be welcomed into your homes (or at least your cell phone or office!).  And it’s been so great to chat with some of you.  I adore your comments!!!

One more project before I go, my favorite by far…

Much Love and Happiest New Year Wishes!

I need to do one of these posts.
Hugs and all the best for the 2013!

  3. If we were voting, I’d have the soda crate footstool and the door in a tie. Gotta love the last photo though. Can’t beat kids being kids.

Great projects, what a reward when they are completed. But your children are so precious that is the best reward in life.Happy New Year!
